Spring Fling Quilt Retreat

Are you ready for some you time? Take advantage of this opportunity for some uninterrupted time to get some quilting done while enjoying the fellowship of other quilters and making new friends. This may be the perfect time to get a jump on some home decorations or gifts that you are planning to make this year. You could even spend the time working on something for yourself.

If you haven't been to one of our retreats, here are some of the things that are included for us:
- A 6 foot table for everyone
- Table space for cutting
-Table space (or floor space if you prefer) for laying out your tops
-Fireplace to enjoy
-Patio/deck to enjoy the outdoor weather
-NO STAIRS! Unless we fill more than the number of rooms that
are blocked off for us.
-Restrooms just outside the work area
-Great lighting
-Enough room for even a few more quilters but don't worry,
we still plan to stay a small group.
-Room to set up an area for meals, so we don't have to worry about
mixing unwanted food with our projects

If you would like to check it out online, here's the link to their website. We will be using the Lakeview Room/Banquet Hall as our work area.  http://www.mcquoidsinn.com/

Due to the fact that we are holding the retreat at a hotel, there will be 2 fees for each person.
The retreat fee that is payable to Country Caboose Quilts is $125 per person. A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at the time of signing up. You will not be considered registered until the deposit is received. The remainder of the fee is due 30 days prior to the retreat. We will send you a reminder when the time comes. This fee covers all meal costs, starting with dinner on Wednesday and ending with brunch on Sunday as well as te fee for use of the hall. Lunch on both Wednesday and Sunday are on your own. There are several great places to eat between the shop and the hotel, so there shouldn't be a problem finding something that you like. The hotel provides a very nice continental breakfast until 9 am each day that is included with your room provided that you are staying there.

The second fee is obviously the fee to stay at the hotel.  You can add a third or fourth person for an additional $10 per person, per night. They also have roll-aways available for your use for $15 per night. These are only available for the rooms with king size beds as it is the only room that has enough room for the roll-aways The rooms that we have blocked off are all in the hall closest to the room that we will be sewing in. Should the rooms on the main level get filled, then you will be given a room on the upper level.
Should you have a health reason that you need to be close to the workroom, be sure to tell them that when you book your room. The phone number for the hotel is (320) 676-3535. I suggest booking your room at the same time as you sign up for the retreat.
